This sweet little polar bear commemorates the lives of the Titanic's youngest passengers and crewmembers. It sits at 5 inches tall and holds either a pink or blue velvet blanket measuring about 8 inches across - just big enough to swaddle the plush bear! The embroidered silver eyes and nose and incredibly soft fur will win your heart.
The Titanic Museum Attraction Honors the 135 Children Aboard Titanic
Among her voyagers, the Titanic carried 135 children on a path of Hope, Courage & Resiliency - from First to Third class, and even in the crew. The youngest crewmember was 14 years old, and the youngest passenger was 9 weeks old.
One such young voyager was First Class Passenger Robert Douglas Spedden, who famously carried his stuffed polar bear by his side. During the sinking of the Titanic, his beloved bear was left behind on a life boat. But luckily, a kindhearted sailor saved the bear and reunited them!
